I was going through my mom's closet and I found this blue necklace which is still in mint condition. I asked my mom if I can have it and she said yes, of course. And this bag is my mom's too actually. Thank goodness my sister isn't really into fashion otherwise she would've taken these two!

Street style fashion blogs are one too many these days. Not all of them are great, I must say. I have few favorites which you can see on my blogroll. And Outré Singapore is my newest find of street style fashion blog (this is gonna be a long post, so bear with me). The man behind this blog is James Bent, a learning & design consultant who currently works in Singapore. I love his attention to detail and he has great eyes and taste. And the thing about these people are that they manage to look great despite the humid and the heat! Btw, here are some of my favorites (He takes more pictures of the guys than the girls but hey, I'm not complaining).

I totally feel the military/boho/safari look from Zara. These are the pieces that I'd love to have in my wardrobe but the things that I covet oh-so-bad right now is the army jacket, jeans shirt and white kaftan shirt. I've been on the lookout for those but none of them fit me right (in terms of price and the fitting).

I just finished watching The September Issue (I know, really late). It is interesting to see what goes on behind the cover; all the works and decisions and photoshoots and meetings. And Grace Coddington really steals the limelight from Anna Wintour (I didn't know she was doing modelling back then. She looked really pretty!). Btw, these are the fashion spread she was doing for September 2007 issue that's called Paris, Je T'aime (I particularly love these three).

It was hot, hot, hot and humid outside! Thus, I opted for this light and airy boxy t-shirt which I really, really love. I've been looking for this kind of t-shirt and very lucky of me that I got it for half the price and the fact that it was the only piece left! Can't be more happier, really.

Ah, finally had the time (and the mood) to take pics! It was quite hot (like usual) so I decided to wear sleeveless top. But I prepared myself with scarf because it's usually windy at night. I didn't know that I had to walk up the hill to check out the rent apartment. It was quite tiring but lucky I wore my trusty and comfy heels because otherwise my feet would be so painful!

God, I feel like I haven't been checking my blog for ages! I'm really behind on blog updates and outfit pics. I've been caught up with lots of things, mainly work and finding a new place to stay. It takes up a lot of my time that I decided to go for a quick getaway. I'd say a much-needed break from my usual routine. Gah, her hair is perfect! I wish mine was as smooth and manageable as hers. I'm thinking of getting my hair cut this weekend, probably a shorter bob. I actually wanted to cut my hair in the style of Kate Lanphear but I'm not sure I'd look good with that kind of haircut.

It was really hot and sunny outside so I decided to wear this blue kaftan fabric shirts with my high-waisted skirt (doesn't it look like bandage skirt?). I threw on my oversized cardigan just in case the weather changed later in the day. You'll never know.

As I'm getting older, I tend to stick to monochrome/pastel/navy blue color. Back when I was younger, I loved dressing up in pop color/loud patterns. At times, I like to incorporate some color into my outfit but it's definitely not pop color (e.g. mustard yellow, blue green). Currently I'm really into oversized shirts/t-shirts! It works well to hide some unwanted bulge here and there, you know. And also, I'm starting to wear rings and bangles more often. I used to only wear necklaces to spice up my outfit, but now, I kinda feel naked when I don't wear my rings or bangles. Is this happening to you, too?

Feeling a bit dressy today so I decided to wear my high-waisted pants. This actually is tailor-made and it only cost $10 (ain't that cheap or what)! Imagine how much I have to pay if I get this pants from Zara or MNG! TBH, I really wish I could sew so I can make my own dress or pants so I can wear/sell it but I guess I'm really not that keen on learning. Oh, well.
